Hey English 2!
Today we worked on wrapping up some more speeches. This week, after we finish all of our speeches, we will be beginning a research project to help us get into our first novel, Hiroshima. We will be exploring the U.S. and the world around the time of WWII. You will be in small groups, researching different elements of this time period. Eventually, you will have to give a small presentation on what you find out. Hopefully these speeches will help give you some practice!
Also, later this week I believe we will begin MAP testing. I will try to get more information out to you the closer we get to these dates. It's looking like Thursday and Friday will be our MAP testing days. If you finish your test early, you will need to either work on your research project, or bring something else to do quietly.
